Fraud SMS and Calls !!!
Now a days People of Pakistan Always Think how to earn money whether through a right channel or through wrong way that dont bother the thing which means too much to them is that at the end how much they earn. A new way of earning was intoduced some what 2 weeks back like U recive a Call a Lady with very charming Voice confirm your identity and then she told You in such a cheerfull manner that Congrats Mam /Sir you won a Brand new Suzuki Car.
Mostly the name of the company used by such people is Universal Marketing Company and the story they told is Like that:
“Few weeks ago on purchase of some National Foods products You filled in a Lucky Draw Coupon and mailed to them. And now you have been selected as a winner in that Lucky Draw.”
I Am very well sure about all this is coz My Uncle recieves such call last week and he says he dont need it but he do some sort investigation and find out they are Fraud and beware all of Us from Such situation and Now i Read a Public service mesage From One of Rapid growing Telecom Company Of Pakistan (Telenor) that :
“Please be aware that some Telenor Pakistan customers are receiving hoax calls and fraudulent SMS informing them that they have won a valuable prize. To get the prize, customers are told to buy some scratch cards and tell the calling party the numbers on them. The fraudulent party immediately transfers the balance to unknown accounts thus depriving the customers of their money.
Please also be aware that in some instances, Telenor Pakistan customers are receiving hoax calls and fraudulent SMS asking them to reply. The SMS contains a hidden message which transfers prepaid balance from the customer’s account on reply.
PLEASE NOTE THAT SUCH CALLS AND SMS ARE A FRAUD.”
Please Make Sure to report these kind of numbers if you get such call. First priority should be to call your customer service center and tell them the number and the best thing is to report it to PTA, rest is their job and they well know how to treat these kinda persons.
And Above All Beware oF such Fraud Calls and SMS.
