Killer Robots – A New Threat From Scientists
Scientists warn that its now not just a film story or sci-fic, there are chances that mankind may loose control over computer operated gadgets – Robots. These artificially intelligent machines have already took alot of human’s part in life from a telephone operator to waging war.
This thing was already mentioned in movies as we are all familiar with a Top chart movie iRobot in which same phenomenon has been taken into consideration, there stilla re some other movies like the latest one, Terminator Salvation and some other with famous names as Matrix, Minority Report etc.
But this is no more any sci-fic or a movie, its a serious threat when comes to life. Microsoft organized a confference on Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence. The Principal researcher of this organization, Eric Horvitz said that:
These are powerful technologies that could be used in good ways or scary ways.
Rsearches show that scietists are spending too much time or Artificial Intelligence and a little on robot safety.
Alan Winfiled who is the Professor at University of the West England, said that:
We are rapidly approaching the time when new robots should undergo a test, similar to ethical and clinical trials for new drugs, before they can be introduced.
But after this much advancement, the builder of something is itself in fear of it. Scientists are worried that there may be a time in future when these automated machines will take such control in Man’s life that they may start causing danger to human life, and may be after sometime – if this happens, we may become familiar with the term Killer Robots.
