Pakistani Media‘s OVER REFINEMENT
If we take a look at the world’s renowned TV Channels, newspapers and journals then most of these put on display that “Pakistan is the one who is at the frontline in the War on Terror.”
We agree that in our homeland; because of so many geopolitical factors we are facing these problems and media has to display the facts, But most of the time For International media, the main source of news is our own Pakistani media & in this scenario Pakistani media bears the responsibility to portray a healthier picture of our society but what actually our media is indulged in???
Look at the talk shows our channels are broadcasting now a days, any one can tell that most of the time the anchor just try to discuss issues that can add fuel to discussion either they are relevant to the ongoing discussion or not, or they might have happened many years ago. But in order to portray a real bad picture they just try their level best to come up with such kind of issues. This actually is ruining the image of Pakistan, as they are making issues out of no issues and becoming a source to unpredictable trouble and complexity.
I admit that media has this responsibility to reveal the truth, but it is also necessary to show us the bright side as well, instead of showing the things with wrong angle that are only creating frustration and fuss among people. Hope can only prevail in our hearts if we think that some progressive initiatives are also there, otherwise every Pakistani will be of the opinion that nothing can be changed out here in our country and no true Pakistani Spirit will exist.
So in my opinion media instead of propagating this way must try to APPRECIATE POSITIVE THINGS as well this thing will restore our image as a Peace Loving Nation.
