PTCL to Revise Vfone Packages Once Again
Its not so long when PTCL just announced new rates and packages for PTCL Vfone by reducaing its 5 plans to Only three, i.e Vfone Simple, Vfone Faimly and Vfone Unlimited. It is hereby announced that PTCL has made some changes regarding this and new rates will apply after 14th of August, as PTCL has already increased SMS charges on Vfone to 0.25 Rs plus tax, which was totally free previously, but it is announced that all SMS are free from Vfone all on-net and off-net.
Message will start to charge after 14th of august, plus package conversion charges were also increased by PTCL form 10 Rs to 20 Rs but till 14th one time package change is free.
All package wer3e revised previously on 21st of July. As per PTA policies PTCL Vfone has now given its customers time till 13th of August to choose their desired package. First package change for all such customers wanting to change their package will be free of charge till 13th of August. Customers currently on Vfone Simple Package (Rs. Zero line rent) will be charged according to the previous call rates as per Vfone Rayayat Package till 13th of August. Whereas all customers of Vfone Bachat, Kafayat & Sahulat package moved to Vfone Family package will be charged a special discounted daily line rent of Rs.4 + tax till the 13th of August. Furthermore SMS will be free till 13th of August after which all on-net & off-net SMS will be charged at only Rs.0.25 + tax. After 14th of August all customers who do not change their package will be automatically moved to the new packages. From 14th of August customers of Vfone Rayayat will be converted to Vfone Simple, customers on Vfone family will be charged @ Rs.5 + tax daily line rent.

SMS charges have not been increased to PKR 0.25+tax, they have been decreased, they used to PKR 1.0+tax….if i remember correctly. when was it free….they used to dock my balance

Nopes you are not correct, SMS was totally free to all networks from vfoe, but recently 33 paisa per sms was applied, but now it is again free till 14th of august..its my own experience, i have vfone at my home
