LG Introduces New Watch Phone
LG come Up With another new and exciting product named as Watch Phones. The touch-screen watch phone, which is made by Korean firm LG, measures just 1.5in square, and callers will need to use a Bluetooth headset and built-in speaker to make and receive calls. It also means users will be able to speak the name or number of the person they wish to dial, instead of tapping in the number on the small screen.
The device runs on the 3G mobile phone network, enabling users to brows the web, make video calls and even check their emails on their phone, as well as use it to listen to music.
Tom Alexander, chief executive of LG Orange UK. said That
“The watch phone is the must-have gadget of 2009, It will turn heads on the high street.”
A limited number of the handcrafted watch phones will be available exclusively on the LG Orange network in the month of August. Although the precise launch date and full pricing details are yet to be confirmed, some analysts predict the watch phone could cost as much as £1,000, and will be available on a pay-as-you-go basis.
