Fastest Processors in Mobile

As we look back into past, not so long, computers with windows 95 were thought to be things like somewhat from stories. Computers with less than 100 MHz processor and just 16 – 32Mb Ram ruled that time. Time goes on, now we see dual, quard core with multi processor computers. In this era mobiles are not lagging behind, comparing present mobiles to those win 95 pc’s, it stands 10 steps ahead.

Mobiles with 200-300 MHz processor were common as we seen a lot of products in market by different manufacturers, but race didn’t end here. As we seen development in computer; trying to achieve higher and higher core speed, so happened with mobiles.

At present, maximum processor speed introduced in mobile is 1GHz – which can easily run windows 7 on other end

Acer became first company to introduce 1GHz core speed in cell phone by introducing neo Touch S200. A mobile which is Windows Mobile based platform with touch screen and camera phone.

Acer Neo Touch S200 has 1GHz processor with 256 MB Ram. 5MP camera and an internal memory of 512MB. 480 x 800 px resolution.

Launched in October 2009. Price: Around 45,000 PKR.

After Acer Neo Touch, HTC was the second one to intrdouce 1GHz mobile named HD2. On the whole HDC 2 stands ahead to Acer Neo as HD2 is equipped with 448MB ram. It is also a Windows Mobile with touch screen.

HTC HD2 has 1GHz processor with 448 MB Ram. 5MP camera and an internal memory of 512MB. 480 x 800 px resolution.

GPS enabled handset, Launched in November 2009. Price: Around 65,000 PKR

And the third one is Toshiba TG01 which is actually a hand held with touch pad having 1GHz processor with 256MB ram. It is also a windows mobile with 6.1 and the previous one were with version 6.5

Toshiba TG01 has 1GHz processor with 25 MB Ram. 3.15MP camera and an internal memory of 512MB. 480 x 800 px resolution.

GPS enabled handset. Price: Around 65,000 PKR.

These are top mobiles with maximum processors launched until now and on the whole HTC HD2 rules the world with good comparative features with others as discussed above if specs considered as it has 448 MB Ram, after thtat there are alot of handstes with 288MB ram, while Apple iphone rules with its touch and motion sensing ability.
