Qmobile Website Down – Purely Non-Tech Guys
Recently we seen Qmobile launched in the market by Digicom. Qmobile advertisement is everywhere on TVc’s these days, greatly promoting them everywhere but what about the tech team. Just visit Qmobile’s official website and you will land on a page suspended by host provider.
I just happened to visit Qmobile’s website and seen Account Suspended. Have a look at the following screen shot:
I have been through Qmobile site many a times and it is purely self generated one with no copyright issue or some piracy, so this cannot be the reason of suspension and account cannot be suspended by host provider for small issues so the only reason left behind is Over-usage of resources!!
Yes this happens only at shared hosting plans as your host provider will not tolerate you with your heavy website asking for more resources by the node as it will disturb other users on same server, and on an average there are users in hundreds on one server when you are at shared host. So pulling more resources beyond the allocated one will result in account suspension as you can see on Qmobile’s page.
Please have a look at Whois record of Qmobile’s website. clearly shown 70 other sites are hosted on same server, which clearly shows site was being hosted on a shared plan.
This surely is a proof of non technicality of Qmobile guys as you cannot risk to run your official website on a share host.
Even these days VPS (Virtual Private Server) are available at cheap rates literally affordable for everyone. You can get that from $4 to onwards which merely costs around PKR 500 and goes on.
Running official website at shared host is really an experienced thing as you are to maintain your name in the market.
