YouTube Again Banned in Pakistan?
Pakistan Government had locally blocked access to youtube, earlier. This time it happens again. I have just been browsing through when got the message, “This Site is Restricted” and this happens when the website you are trying to access is blocked by your ISP and in my case, its PTCL. Matter of interest is that the year before last, youtube was banned by Pakistan Government, same in february and this time it is happening again.
Whatsoever is the official status but the screenshot clearly shows restricted site.
The picture shown is a resized version of original screen shot.
The case is only with Pakistan as youtube is working like a charm on all proxies, so clearly uptil now, it is a local ban in Pakistan by country’s backbone broadband provider as a lot of other sites have also been banned like this on PTA’s notice.
Though the number of youtubers in Pakistan are quite low yet the viewers got a large queue. Wait for any official notice or wait for the rebirth of YouTube!!

YouTube is back and working, so the show is over!!

This seemed to be an effort to block anti-government videos as all the videos under “shut up zardari” are still restrcited.

Actually it was our President. All these videos have been restricted.
Once again a cheap step, as we already seen in case of SMSs.
Youtube is now opening here but its a Bull…. that any video of President is not running, But there is written as ” This site is Restricted”.
its like a communism as in china…that we can not write anything abt it…

This is the poverty of management! Lack of sense on the part of Pakistani government and goof lawyers. Youtube was not only source of entertainment but great source of learning as well! But we have nothing to do learning. So far as public is ignorant, fake politicians and jingos are make money and powers. Hell with those ignorants who took that step. Pakistan is not a liveable place! Hell for intellect! Heaven for mindlesses!
