“Shut Up” Zardari Videos – YouTube
Yesterday we saw downtime on YouTube, specifically in Pakistan, Rumors around the globe were that YouTube got banned by mistake or was it going to be a permanent ban again, which on the other note, lifted after a while. Whatsoever is the actual cause behind all this, the apparent reason behind the temporary ban on YouTube videos was some videos of President Asif Ali Zardari.
Yes in these videos our beloved president is clearly shown saying shut up to someone in mob. First of all have a look at video.
I was astonished the way he behaved. Asif Ali Zardari graduated from London School of Business and Economics. The way he abused seems more less than an illiterate person but what to say when you are The President of a Country. I have been searching around finding a single video in which someone from the US or British parliament might got caught like this but alas i couldn’t.
Now the apparent reason behind the ban on YouTube is clearly open as you still are not able to access any video via PTCL, containg the search term “Shut Up Zaradri”.
Apart from any political criticism, even not taking it to democracy, it is the voice of a Pakistani.
Is this what freedom of speaking? Previously we seen strict monitoring on SMS campaign and cruel punishment of 14 years – though lifted after a while but yesterday i seen another warid number being telecast on news channel who was reportedly claimed to be involved in SMS against Zardari.
Government guys and their rulers think that they got dumb public. If you were to ban the videos, i am totally in your favor to ban those videos – in fact the funny videos made by users in which cartoons are made, but why to hide reality from the scene? What to do now when arrow is out of bow.
My Message to Mr. President is, please do not try to stop like this as you never can. the only solution left behind is to ban the word “zardari” at PIE. But that will also be compromised somehow after the ban. You can never stop this protest like this. Banning one, two three or even hundred websites, monitoring SMS’s, blocking TV channels would all be in vain as there is alternative to everything. Please mend your ways there might be a little time left behind.
Else one has to answer for deeds, has to appear in front of the REAL CHIEF JUSTICE where no legislation applies, you can’t even flee to abroad to avoid that.
