PTCL CSR’s Go on Strike Against Payroll at The Mall, Lahore
PTCL CSR’s call on strike, today at Mall Road, Lahore in front of Punjab Assembly Building. Strikers included mostly females who are CSR’s at PTCL EVO, Broadband, 1217 helpline. Sole purpose of strike was against the payroll, as they claim that they have not been paid for two months.
Talking to protestants, they told us that PTCL has not paid them since two months and dues are on hold. Plus all CSR are at same designation since three years as they are waiting to be promoted. He proclaimed that even after a lot of experience they are at the same rank where the new comers join.
In the picture from left to right, Muhammad Afzal and H. M. Zikriya who actually are students at Punjab University talked to us regarding the issue. Muhammad Afzal told that he has been working as CSR at PTCL broadband helpline since three years and is on same pay as of initial i.e. Rs. 9000. Plus he also told that instead of giving increments, there are many a cases where PTCL has decreased the pay to Rs. 7000.
H. M. Zikriya said that some of the CSR were at 11000 pay which has also been decreased. Plus he added that pays are not up to the mark as inflation is on its way and in comparison to three years old rates, present pays are not enough to cope up the dearness.

We are one is Our Slogan , which means we are one , this is not just as a slogan of PTCL –> “Feel the difference” but infact difference is most of the times in -ve aspects.
That was result of our joint effort that we succeeded strive for our right and did a great job.
Divide and rule is the remidy adopted by PTCL management so we have to be united, as i said earlier in CDAS ‘Lahore’ during ending speech .. “This is not the ending, this is the begning for new era”.
May we would not be facilitated by PTCL regarding their pay roll but in future ,for new commer’s they would have to think about this.
Our struggle is not to let the management down , its to secure our future by facilitating our selves as well as customer’s.

This is the Leader Mohsin Intazar from the 1218 and 1217 Contact Centers. I had taken an initial step to stop this unfair and insulting behavior of our Management towards our colleagues. I had started this and I want all of you to support me in this whole way till we accomplish our mission successfully. I am really very thankful to all the Agents of both Call Centers who supported me in my mission. And specially I would like to appreciate the efforts of Mohammad Kazim from 1236 who had a really great coordination with me and we did this insufferable thing for this Management to realize them that we are not robots or idiots who are going to bear everything quietly. After bearing intense heat and pressure magma is created and eventually comes out in order to release all the pressure, heat and pain. That’s what happened by all Third Part Employees of PTCL’s helpline (1236,1217,1218).Because it’s been 3 years since these call centers are started. It’s WE third party employees who are working with the organization and who made, established and developed every setup over here, TILL the Company got ISO Certification BUT WE are standing still on scratch ,without even a single appreciation letter, As our rights are explicitly been exploited by the management. Warning letters and terminations are distributed like toffees. IF we comes on our off day to do the work. Instead of any appreciation we are been smiled off.
Company being very wise finished our previous contracts with ASK and CATCOS after 3 years, and brought another vendor HRSI in order to avoid PAKISTAN’s labor LAW. That states to make employees permanent after 3 years of their work with an organization.
Customer care (Helpline job) is considered to be one of word’s toughest jobs .If the company is a failure to satisfy its employees. How can it satisfy its customers and to project a better image.
Therefore it is request and an oath among us to remain united. As together we stand, apart we diminish.
And for management it’s yet again a request to understand our problems and address them positively instead of bringing new CSR’s (WHO ARE MOST WELCOMED) at the same level of those who actually watered this plant like their own garden.AS it is really sad for us too to get our due right of salaries by the end of month by moving out on roads. WE also don’t want to or wanted to do it.
As it is us Third party employees who believes dedicatedly to give an excellent customer care and prove PTCL’s slogan of Feel the difference instead

Do you know that the management of PTCL has targeted you and very soon they are going to fire you on quality basis,plz be careful.
I would like to appreciate the act of unity shown by all the CSRZ of Lahore may ALLAH RABBULIZZAT bestow such courage to the Karachi CSRZ as well,(sorry to say) but they are living like a jackal,two three CSRZ raise their voices every time but no one turn a deaf ear to them because they know that only two three CSRZ can’t do any thing.May ALLAH PAAK give us courage to stand in front of the cruel management specially against MANAGER SUMERA,who doesn’t know anything except barking in english or castigating the CSRZ.
I would suggest the Lahore CC CSRZ to co-ordinate with Karachi CC CSRZ and they all go on strike together then management would realize the importance of us.Through this we can achieve all of our goals.
