Demands by PTCL CSR’s

As we previously covered the strike called out by PTCL CSR’s against the payroll. Update to this strike is, they got succeeded in their campaign and got payed their dues. This really would have been a tremendous fight for rights. We seen CSRS’s from Karachi, supporting their fellow mates by heart, raising the slogan, “We Are One”. Still there are some demands by CSR’s which are to be pondered on which have been forwarded to higher management and will be discussed in director’s meeting.

Following is the context of letter - petition submitted by PTCL employees.

Dear Concerned;

We have always been threatened for termination in case of asking for our rights and abused by top management of PTCL.

We are working for PTCL for more then THREE years but pay is never revised nor discussed.


Without any promotion, any incentive like medical, insurance etc we kept on working for PTCL but they never pondered for this.

This time its been almost two months that our pay has not transferred to our accounts, In past never on time; promise was taken by PTCL as they changed our employer from “Catcos and Ask” to “HRSI” to avoid the consequences of labor law, which narrates; company should permanent the employees working from “specific span”. Its been more than THREE years that many outsourced employees are working for PTCL, but they explicitly; without giving any choice to CSR’s, did this.

This is our request to the regulatory authorities to take notice of this and justify our demands.

Following are our demands, which let us to strive for our rights; as we are outsourced employees, working for PTCL- Call Center’s.

  1. PTCL should shift our payroll from outsourced companies to its own.
  2. Job security: we have been threatened for termination without any reason.
  3. Handsome increments: as inflation rate reaches to 400%.
  4. Medical.
  5. Insurance.
  6. Recreational Activities; as this is second world’s toughest job.
  7. Security shall be refunded.
  8. Employees who are about to complete their one year of job, are forced to complete their one year to avail Earn Leaves according to the HRSI policy.
  9. Compensation of 10 days, as HRSI roster is from 1 – 30 , and previous is from 20 – 20.

We have always been loyal and sincere to PTCL, but there is always a limit for every thing. We are never rewarded by PTCL.

On fulfilling these demands PAKISTAN will feel true positive difference in PTCL; not just in their slogan, in reality as well.
