TeleCON 2011 on April 16 in Islamabad
The industry’s premier event, the 4th Pakistan Telecommunication Congress (TeleCON 2011) will be held on April 16, 2011 in Islamabad. The annual meeting of all telecom & IT specialists is endorsed by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and supported by leading trade organizations and the giants of the telecom & IT industry.
The theme of the Conference will be on ‘Embracing New Technologies & Economic Challenges’ and will feature experts and industry specialists delivering breakthrough papers and presentations. While the telecom & IT industry is at the threshold of consolidation, there are economic socio-political challenges in the country which go hand-in-hand with the advancement in technology and newer options for the discerning customers. Information drives the new world and there is good reason to believe that Pakistan of the immediate future will have to embrace technologies that are moving ahead with great speed and agility.
TeleCON 2011 will provide ample opportunities for companies in Pakistan, specializing both in the telecom and IT industries to highlight their key performance indicators and the need to venture into newer territories for revenue generation and value-added services. “We are looking forward to the usual enthusiastic participation of industry stalwarts and the learned audience which comes to attend TeleCON in large numbers. We are welcoming ‘partners’ on board the TeleCON 2011 wave and encourage companies to showcase their success in Pakistan,” said Madiha Adnan, Manager Conferences at SHAMROCK Conferences International – the organizers of the conference.
The organizers have also officially called for papers to be read/presented by the industry’s prominent personalities and technology specialists.
